Mt. Moosilauke by Tammy McNamara Hike Length: Dayhike Trails: Beaver Brook Trail (AT) Date: July 2002 Trailhead is located on the Kanc (112) west of Lincoln, NH. This was very challening hike (as the sign near the trailhead suggests = experienced hikers). The main part of the Beaver Brook trail was VERY steep & rocky using handrails to help climbers ascend. This trail rins along a waterfall and is very scenic This is part of the Appalachian trail also. The final part of the hike is easier as you climb up the peak of Moosilauke to spectacular views. This was one of my favorite hikes, although there are easier ways up Moosilauke I would recommend this hike if you are looking for a challenge! It took about 6 hours to hike up and down Moosilauke on the Beaver Brook trail. Equipment: Boots Special Equipment: |
